Two years after Love Actually Sucks, provocative and acclaimed Hong Kong auteur Scud returns with Voyage. Made in Hong Kong, Mongolia, Malaysia, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands, Voyage is Scud’s first movie to be filmed mostly in English. At the center of the film is a young psychiatrist who suffers from depression played by Ryo van Kooten (Love Actually Sucks). The psychiatrist sets off from Hong Kong on a solo journey that will hopefully help him come to terms with the wrenching emotional relationships he has had with his patients. Along the way, he records their stories and travels to locales that played hosts to them. The film features an international cast including Debra Baker, Adrian Ron Heung, Sebastian Castro, Byron Pang and Leni Speidel, and earned an Artistic Achievement Award at the 2013 Chicago International Film Festival.
